Archiving my father's service letters has been cathartic. My Dad died suddenly when I was still in high school. I can't remember ever talking to him about his World War II  experience. With the discovery of these letters, however, I believe I've been blessed with more detail than many Baby Boomers ever get from their Greatest Generation fathers.

These letters are hosted through the online archive service Scribd.com, in their original form -- they have not been transcribed.
